so if you can’t tell yet… I kinda hate the idea of “fine” art. the assertion that some type of art is more worthwhile than others is odd when there is only a subjective rubric of what that means… that said, I am a cog in the wheel and have some works that I think fit into that category so here those are. I thought I could explain a bit more about my process though…

I work in studies and those studies are heavily informed by what I'm focused on at that moment. sometimes those moments last a week and sometimes for years, like my current one. they traditional start in my ridiculously cluttered brain and then find their way into my sketchbook or iPad. from there, they may make their way onto paper for ink/charcoal work. recently, I've started to get back into oil painting as well so you’ll see some of those soon too…

there’s always one ongoing study that really is about my experiences in our world. right now, that study is called “observations/ENRAGED”. to some, it’s “woke” art but to me it is art that’s alive, passionate and angry… because I don’t think it’s “woke” to see.
